Volgograd

Volgograd was almost completely restored after the war. This means that most of the architecture was formed by Soviet specialists in the 50s and 60s of the 20th century. However, the history of the city is omnipresent. The memory of the fallen soldiers is remembered in many parts of the city: there is the Mamayev Kurgan, the hill on which the Battle of Stalingrad took place and the panoramic museum. Volgograd also houses the largest statue of Lenin in Russia and the Motherland Calls monument, which is one of the tallest in the world.
