Catherine II is considered the patroness of Krasnodar. The Black Sea Cossack army in 1793 received from her a gift of land, where at first there was a military camp, and later the city itself was founded. All guests of the Kuban capital are advised to see the main architectural monuments of the city, which include, among others, the Triumphal Arch, the Philharmonic and the water tower.
